Holy crap, it feels like summer again!
It’s that time when people get restless and need to travel. The distance is irrelevant, as we’ve thawed out and just need to get out.
Maybe we come up with a set of places or events to travel to? A little tour that BIPOC creatives could benefit from experiencing, or supporting.
Even if its just a good place to get coffee and write, or a small side quest to cool off.
One of my favorite places to get some good, and free, AC is at LitArts RI, 400 Harris Ave Unit E in Providence.
Specifically, from 4:00 p.m. To 6:00 p.m.
It’s an incredible coincidence that it also happens to be the same time as the Coffeehour Chat and Write-In. (It’s gotta be the stars aligning.)
If you need a recharge, some inspiration, or a little bit of community- stop on by. The space we make for creatives of color, we make together. It’s dependent on you.
